Old footage of Sean "Diddy" Combs and a young Justin Bieber has raised eyebrows after the music mogul's homes were raided as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation.

In the video that resurfaced on X, formerly Twitter, Tuesday, Combs can be seen standing next to the then-15-year-old singer while telling the camera that they would be spending the next 48 hours together.

"Where we hanging out and what we're doing we really can't disclose. But it's definitely a 15-year-old's dream," Combs, then 40, said in the clip.

The rapper added, "I have been given custody of him. He's signed to Usher, and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album."

Combs went on to clarify that he did not have "legal guardianship" of Bieber but teased that he and the young pop star were "gonna go full crazy" in the next 48 hours.

Throughout the clip, Bieber, who wore a purple plaid shirt and black baseball cap, is all smiles and looks up at Combs.

Earlier in the video, Combs showed Bieber a convertible he said he'll give him once he turns 16.

"Then when you're 18, you get the house -- you get the mansion," the hip-hop mogul added.

Usher had signed Bieber to his and Scooter Braun's record label, Raymond Braun Media Group, in 2008 when the "Love Yourself" hitmaker was 13.

Several social media users slammed the video as "creepy" and accused Combs of grooming the "Baby" hitmaker.

"Diddy is a weirdo who definitely groomed Justin Bieber and many others," one X user alleged.

"That's just every level of creepy," another tweeted.

But some insisted there was nothing strange about the clip.

"What's wrong with this video? Diddy has kids, and he probably saw Bieber's talent and wanted to impress him. Y'all need to clean your minds. Bieber is alive and can speak for himself," one user wrote.

According to the New York Post, Combs later confronted Bieber and asked the young pop star why he did not call or hang out with him "the way we used to hang out" months after they spent 48 hours together.

In another resurfaced video, Bieber moved around and seemed to stutter as he told Combs that he tried to contact him through his reps but that the rapper "never really got my number."

The old videos raised eyebrows after Homeland Security Investigations agents raided Combs' Los Angeles and Miami homes Monday.

The searches were part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, unnamed law enforcement officials told the Associated Press.

Combs has not been charged or officially named as the target of the investigation, but the raids came after he was accused of sexual assault and harassment, rape and sex trafficking, among other allegations, by both men and women in recent months.

Combs has denied all allegations made against him in the lawsuits.

His lawyer also said in a statement Tuesday that Combs is "innocent and will continue to fight" to clear his name.

In the statement obtained by Entertainment Weekly, attorney Aaron Dyer condemned the raids as "a gross overuse of military-level force" and "a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits."
