Barbra Streisand is under fire after writing a now-deleted comment about Melissa McCarthy's weight.

McCarthy shared a reel of photos Monday on Instagram. She showed off her full-glam look while shouting out the Center Theatre Group following a gala she attended with film director Adam Shankman.

"Pastels only to honor the incredible @matthewbourne13 at the @ctgla gala last night with this fella @adamshankman !! Thiiiiis much closer to my dream of dancing on stage," McCarthy, 53, wrote.

In response to the bright and bubbly post, Streisand left a comment that would immediately ignite a firestorm throughout the comment section.

"Give him my regards, did you take Ozempic?" Streisand, 82, questioned. Fans instantly found the comment offensive and didn't hold back in the clapback department.

"DOES SHE NOT KNOW EVERYONE CAN SEE HER COMMENTS???" one user asked. "Seriously, Babs..81 years..inappropriate comments...time for that Dementia test," another user darted back.

In a statement shared to her Instagram stories Tuesday, Streisand clarified she wanted to praise the actress' look.

"Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy who I sang with on my Encore album," she wrote. "She looked fantastic! I just wanted to pay her a compliment."

The 'Bridesmaids' actress didn't respond to the comment, and it remains unclear as to whether she ever saw it to begin with. McCarthy — who Streisand may have been trying to imply looks great — has admitted she's been "every size on the planet."
