Amy Roiland, known for her TikTok content revolving around personal style, shifted her focus to a more personal matter.

Roiland's 4-year-old daughter Ryder was diagnosed with brain cancer. Despite her previous content centered on fashion, Roiland recently took to TikTok to reveal the heartbreaking news, all while being nine months pregnant with her second baby.

Roiland, known as @afashionnerd on both TikTok and Instagram, posted "On Friday (Dec. 15th) we noticed Ryder's right eye was moving strangely, and we weren't sure what was going on." Following the concerning observation, Roiland and her husband, Ben Bayouth, arranged a medical appointment for their daughter the next week.

Ryder underwent an urgent MRI procedure, leading to the revelation of a brain tumor.

The couple discovered the tumor was cancerous and exhibited signs of potential spread within Ryder's brain. Roiland and her husband sought a second medical opinion for their daughter at a children's hospital.

"Five minutes after looking at the imaging, [the doctor] was like, 'This is glioma,' " Bayouth states. "Our oncologist has said that technically, this is some type of cancer but it's low-grade and unlikely to spread."

@afashionnerd No more binky for Ryder Bird. Her bite is completely off now and teeth don't touch in the front. This was so emotional for her but mainly for me. Where'd my baby go! All grown up. #toddlermom #toddlertok #toddlerlife #kidsdentistry ♬ original sound - Afashionnerd

Ryder has underwent two surgical procedures thus far, including an initial two-hour biopsy in December, which yielded inconclusive results. A more arduous four-hour open-brain biopsy was performed, which confirmed Ryder was afflicted by a slow-growing, low-grade glioma situated in her optic pathway, adversely impacting the vision in her right eye.

"When something like this happens, you think, let me sit on the couch and cry all day," Roiland said.

In an Instagram post on April 15, Roiland posted how resilient her daughter is.

"Despite her ongoing treatment, her energy levels are through the roof, and her zest for life shines bright. It's incredibly uplifting to witness. I've noticed she's been even more enthusiastic about styling herself lately, perhaps because of her new bedroom setup, making her clothes more accessible," she wrote. "It warms my heart to see her creativity in action. She's also taken to styling her dolls, and I've been capturing these adorable moments to share on her Instagram soon. My love for her knows no bounds."
