President Joe Biden stopped in Pittsburgh to speak with the United Steelworkers Union; however, comments made by the president left the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea reportedly disappointed.

Biden — who has been accused of word-salad storytelling and incoherent mumbling — told the union last week that his uncle, 2nd Lt. Ambrose J. Finnegan Jr., disappeared. He alleged his uncle was eaten by cannibals in New Guinea after his plane crashed during World War II.

"Ambrose Finnegan, we called him Uncle Bozey, he was shot down. He was Army Air Corps before there was an Air Force," Biden began to explain.

"He flew those single-engine planes as reconnaissance over war zones, and he got shot down in New Guinea," the 81-year-old president stated. "They never found the body because there used to be, there were a lot of cannibals, for real, in that part of New Guinea."

"President Biden's remarks may have been a slip of the tongue; however, my country does not deserve to be labeled as such," Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea James Marape responded per statements obtained by Fox News.

"World War II was not the doing of my people; however, they were needlessly dragged into a conflict that was not their doing," he continued.

The news outlet obtained documentation courtesy of The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency, showing Biden's uncle Ambrose Finnegan was declared "Unaccounted For."

"For unknown reasons, this plane was forced to ditch in the ocean off the north coast of New Guinea. Both engines failed at low altitude, and the aircraft's nose hit the water hard. Three men failed to emerge from the sinking wreck and were lost in the crash," the documentation details.

"One crew member survived and was rescued by a passing barge. An aerial search the next day found no trace of the missing aircraft or the lost crew members."

Press Secretary of the White House Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to take the heat off of Biden. She defended Biden, saying he made the comments while having an "emotional moment."
