King Charles no longer trusts Prince Harry even if he still agrees to see him, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex will fly to the United Kingdom next week for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. His wife, Meghan Markle, will not join him, but he is expected to see his dad.

Kinsey Schofield, royal commentator and author of "R is for Revenge Dress: A Princess Diana-Inspired Alphabet Book for Grown-Ups," weighed in on his upcoming visit. According to her, Prince Harry will always have "access" to his father, but there's no more trust from the latter's side.

"The king is happy to spend time with his youngest son but will remain guarded to protect the people that he loves and who have shown him unconditional loyalty," Schofield told Fox News. "Harry will always have access to his father, but the trust is long gone."

The royal commentator claimed that Markle's husband is "suffering the consequences of his action" as no senior royals will support his event in the U.K. However, Prince Harry is allegedly not aware of what he did against his family.

"Harry does not take responsibility for the tsunami of hurt he has caused his family. The king sees this very clearly," Schofield continued.

"Harry is still under the impression that he has not done anything wrong by purging family secrets for paychecks. That delusion concerns everyone that used to be close to Harry."

Prince Harry and Markle left the U.K. and moved to the United States in 2020. A year later, they did their infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they claimed that a member of the royal family raised concern over their unborn child's skin color. The Dutch version of Omid Scobie's book "Endgame" claimed that there were two royals involved in the racism issue, and they were King Charles and Kate Middleton.

In December 2022, the couple dropped their six-part docuseries on Netflix, "Harry & Meghan," and in January 2023, Prince Harry released his memoir, "Spare." The duke and duchess have said a lot of unflattering things about the royals in their previous projects, which also worsened the Sussexes' rift with the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Although King Charles is meeting his youngest son, he will not push Prince Harry and Prince William to reconnect.

"King Charles is not pushy and will not demand any type of reconciliation," Schofield added.

Prince Harry is not expected to see his big brother during his U.K. visit. However, King Charles' former butler, Grant Harrold, suggested "the King will want the brothers to patch things up."
