'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Spoilers: Emma & Regina Battle Arthur In Conflict Over Merlin In 'Dreamcatcher' [VIDEO]
The conflict between Arthur (Liam Garrigan) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Regina (Lana Parrilla) escalates in the next episode of ABC's Once Upon a Time.
Why 'Once Upon a Time' Star Elliot Knight Doesn't Like To Predict What Happens Next
ABC has released a plot synopsis for the next episode of Once Upon a Time, which is titled Dreamcatcher. As the title implies, Emma will use one of her dreamcatchers in order to gain new information about Merlin (Elliot Knight) and his past.
The plot synopsis reads as follows:
Is Emma's New Darkness Like An 'Addiction' On 'Once Upon a Time'?
"In Camelot, as Mary Margaret [Ginnifer Goodwin] and David [Josh Dalas] attempt to retrieve the Dark One dagger, Emma uses a dreamcatcher to look into the past to see how Merlin was transformed into a tree. Together, Emma and Regina figure out the critical ingredient they must acquire to free Merlin, but it's a race against Arthur, who does not want Merlin released."
The episode will also our heroes breaking into Emma's house in an effort to find Gold (Robert Carlyle) but they ultimately discover what Emma has planned for the future. Meanwhile, Merida (Amy Manson) is busy going about her task of turning Gold into "the hero they need to draw Excalibur."
On a lighter note, the episode will also feature Henry (Jared Gilmore) taking a big step towards asking Violet (Olivia Steele Falconer) out on a date, with encouragement from Emma and Regina.
