Country music sensation Mindy McCready, 37, reportedly committed suicide on Sunday afternoon in Heber Springs, Ark., on the same front porch where her boyfriend was found dead just one month prior.

Before the 37-year-old pulled killed herself, she shot and killed the family dog, according to Daily Mail,

McCready was facing suspicion from authorities following the death of her live-in boyfriend, David Wilson, who also died from a gunshot on Jan. 13. Police state they're still in the middle of investigating whether or not foul play had anything to do with the shooting.

While being interviewed last month, McCready revealed that her dog had found the bullet that pierced Wilson and tried to eat it.

"I didn't find the bullet, the dog did. It was in the dog's mouth. I mean, that's a horrific things to say, but it was in the dog's mouth," she told Dateline NBC.

McCready denied being involved in her late boyfriend's death and said he was her "soul mate." She said, "Oh my God, no. He was my life, we were each other's life."

The country singer's death comes mere days after her release from rehab. A judge had ordered her to be committed to a mental health facility after she said she'd been excessively drinking. McCready's father said that she' been abusing prescriptions drugs.

McCready was in the treatment center for one day before she was given permission to go back home earlier in the month.

"She was released because they think she is mentally stable enough, and she was tested for drugs and alcohol and everything came up fine. Nothing illegal came up," a source told E! News. "One of the reasons they released her is she didn't have any symptoms of what an alcoholic would have. There were no signs she had a problem to the doctor."
