A premiere date has finally been announced for the new season of America's Got Talent.

On Tuesday, Variety announced that the reality competition will return to NBC on Tuesday, May 31 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be its 11th season and will be welcoming acclaimed judge Simon Cowell to the panel.

In fact, all the other judges on the series recently spoke to Access Hollywood on what fans can expect with Cowell coming aboard. Howie Mandel mentioned that his new co-worker is going to likely have a blast collaborating with him.

"Simon's gonna love working with me," Mandel said. "Simon hired me for this and I'm thrilled that I'm indebted to him, but he has no idea the joy he's gonna have sitting at the desk with me."

Heidi Klum added that as heartbreaking as it might be to hear Cowell's harsh words to people auditioning, she still wants him to speak his mind.

"I feel bad or a little sad for the people if they leave the stage crying, but I think I want to see what he has to say," Klum said.

As for how Cowell feels coming aboard, he said that the other judges are likely going to be the ones to take charge.

"I have a feeling this year they're going to be the bosses," he said.
