Chelsea Houska Engaged: Cole DeBoer Proposed During 'Teen Mom 2' Season Seven [VIDEO]
Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer are getting married.
Following a November 2015 proposal, the Teen Mom 2 star began planning her dream wedding to DeBoer, but unfortunately for fans, the reality star will not be sharing her nuptials on the show.
"Our wedding is just something so personal and we’re having a small intimate wedding and it just didn’t feel right just for us to have it aired to millions of people," Houska explained to Wetpaint Entertainment last week. "Even though I appreciate the support and I’m so grateful for everyone who is so happy for us, people will be able to see the planning and pictures and stuff like that so I’m not leaving them with nothing."
As for when her wedding will take place, Houska added, "We like the fall. The weather is perfect around that time so that’s what we’re thinking. We’re not really doing a set color scheme, it’s just kind of fall colors."
In January, The Ashley's Reality Roundup claimed Houska and DeBoer would wed in early October.
“Chelsea wants her wedding to be very private and low-key,” a source told The Ashley at the time. “MTV is begging her to let them film it but Chelsea refuses. She usually stands firm on stuff like this, so it’s unlikely that she’ll change her mind. Besides, Cole has never really been comfortable doing things on-camera.”
