Prince Cause Of Death: Late Singer Reportedly 'Was Not Doing Well' After Recent Doctor Visit [VIDEO]
Some new details have been released on the shocking death of Prince.
After it was discovered that the music icon died on Wednesday, TMZ found out that he was treated for a drug overdose just six days ago.
The late singer had to make an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois last Friday after a performance in Atlanta. This is when his reps said he was battling the flu.
Sources are now saying that Prince was rushed to a hospital where doctors provided him with a "save shot," which is supposed to counteract the effects of an opiate, according to the site.
The situation seemingly got to a rough moment when doctors advised Prince to stay in bed for 24 hours. And his people tried to get him a private room, but that couldn't happen. So he ended up leaving and was released three hours after his visit.
When Prince left the doctor's, it is said that he "was not doing well."
Meanwhile, the singer's ex-wife Mayte Garcia opened up in a report from Mirror on the craziness of their relationship and how she will always love him. She also dished on what it was like when they met for the first time.
"When we met I was a virgin and had never been with anybody," Garcia said. "I'd always been a very focused dancer and very protected. Prince was my first crush, and my first love, but we didn't start to get serious until I turned 18. He was very respectful. I remember our first kiss and thinking, 'Oh God, oh wow, this is not happening!'"
Overall, it sounds like these two had an incredible time together.
"I remember it being overwhelming and weird," Garcia said. "Our entire time together was amazing and surreal, and he showed me some incredible things and introduced me to incredible people."
