Gigi Hadid Twitter: Zayn Malik Split Temporary, Already Back Together [VIDEO]
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are back together after a brief split.
Although the couple reportedly parted ways just last week, the 21-year-old model called Malik her boyfriend during an interview with Elle days later and was also seen wearing a "Z" necklace as she lip-synched to his song, "Pillowtalk," on Snapchat on June 4.
“They broke up and got back together almost right away,” a friend confirmed in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “Right now it’s back on, but it could be off again in an hour... They are young and keep going back and forth. Things are testy between them.”
Accoring to the report, Hadid and Malik's main issue is that they are very different.
“He wants to stay home and hang out, but she loves the limelight,” said the pal. “She loves attention and he hates it. An introvert and an extrovert; we all saw it coming.”
At the time Hadid and Malik's split was announced last week, a source claimed the pair had been on the rocks since late April, when Hadid celebrated her 21st birthday.
"During her birthday they were fighting," an insider told E! News last Thursday, adding that the couple had been on and off in the weeks since.
"Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It's all very unclear what's going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along," the report claimed.
"Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close," the source added.
Hadid and Malik's romance began in November of last year after she split from Joe Jonas after just a few months of dating. Prior to Jonas, Hadid dated Cody Simpson for two years.
