Paige VanZant appeared on the spring season of Dancing With the Stars, and during her appearance, the UFC fighter was linked to pro dancer Alan Bersten.

As the season aired, VanZant addresed the rumors.

"Who knows!" VanZant said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, laughing. "A girl does not kiss and tell!"

In May, VanZant said she was "definitely single right now" but in the months that followed, she and Bersten were seen togther.

"Me and Alan are friends, but right now I'm a little preoccupied with the competition. I want to make it all the way, and we're so close," she explained.

Meanwhile, fellow cast member Val Chmerkovskiy also spoke of VanZant's comments during her interview, saying the Dancing With the Stars dating confrontation was "the three most awkward minutes in television history."

"I guess I played the role of a peacock on the show before," Chmerkovskiy continued. "I'm very glad I grew out of that."

The pro dancer went on to speak of the frequent hookups that happen between cast members during filming.

"Are there relationships that spring up during this process? Of course. You go through such an incredible journey together. If the vibe is right in that sense, why not?" Chmerkovskiy explained. "Things happen, but I think your job is your job and you should have certain ethics and morals and act accordingly. I have not done so in the past."
