Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their separation June of last year. After the announcement they have remained on good terms while living in the same house and co-parenting their three children.

During the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, "The Accountant," Affleck opened up with Entertainment Tonight on how they make things work inside the home. Affleck said that both of them are doing their best to raise their children. He added that when it comes to parenting, he shares the work load with Garner.

Earlier this year, Garner took the family to Europe so that the kids could see their father while he is filming "Justice League" where he will reprise his role as Batman. During an appearance on the Today show last August, Garner said that the family is doing well. She added that she and Affleck are great friends and they have to have a good relationship for the sake of the children.

The 44-year-old actor also said during the red carpet premiere that Garner is heading to Nevada in order to support presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. According to People, he said that he is impressed with Garner for doing what she believes in and even praised her for being a "great mom."

Affleck and Garner have three children namely Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4. He revealed that the family is planning on celebrating Halloween together. He said that they are both taking them trick or treating but he isn't quite show what costume will the children wear and that they are still working on it.

It was earlier reported that Garner allegedly is putting the divorce on hold after hearing the intense custody battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. As of writing, both Affleck and Garner are silent on the issue of their divorce.
