It has been while when Apple has been reported to be in the works for its upcoming device iMac 2017. The said all-in-one desktop didn't make it on the company's event last October where many tech enthusiasts are expecting it to be announced.

According to iTech Post, Apple doesn't utter anything about the much-awaited iteration of iMac during the company's October event. But now, the all-in-one desktop that is dubbed as iMac 2017 is predicted to be unveiled next year through an Apple event scheduled in March 2017. Aside from this device, the Cupertino-based company is also believed to introduce the iPad Pro 2.in

When it comes with the specs and features, Mobile & Apps had learned that the iMac 2017 might feature an Intel Kaby Lake chipset. With the incorporation of this new technology, the upcoming iMac will be a very powerful machine.

This act is logical as the iMac 2017 will be assigned a slew of high-performance duties like gaming and photo/video editing. Nonetheless, there are talks stating that the upcoming iMac will be a VR-compatible device needing a Polaris 11 or Polaris 10 GPU instead of having Kaby Lake as its processor.

The next iteration of iMac is also believed to arrive sporting a 5K Retina display for the 27-inch model which is akin to the 2015 model. Nevertheless, the new iMac might be supported by an OLED Touch Bar, a feature that the Cupertino-based company has also included in its new MacBook Pro.

As of the moment, Apple Inc. hasn't spilled any information about the upcoming iMac 2017 which indicates that the company's fans will have to wait for its debut in early 2017, perhaps to happen in the very first quarter. But some reports hinted that the device will possibly make its first appearance on of Consumers Electronics Show (CES) 2017.
