The Ezra Miller Memes on Twitter Are Potent Following Second Assault Arrest In Hawaii - Some Compare With Will Smith

Ezra Miller is on their way to becoming a very scary Hawaiian cryptid legend.

The Fantastic Beasts actor has been arrested AGAIN for assault in Hawaii - the first time, they made headlines for threating a man and woman who he got into a fight with at a bar - after breaking into their hotel room. Then, he was arrested for throwing a chair when he was asked to leave a party at a private residence.

As you can see, Twitter has been having a field day with this information.

Miller has gained quite a reputation over the last month, and not in a good way. After their first arrest, all movies with him involved, including DC's The Flash, (which has already been delayed several times) have been put on hold indefinitely.

Now that there has been a second arrest - even though they've been released - it's doubtful that any of Miller's projects will be able to move forward anytime soon.

Many online have pointed out the irony of our current cultural climate: While only a few weeks ago we were all in a frenzy over Will Smith slapping Chris Rock across the face, resulting in him being banned from the Oscars almost immediately, Miller has now committed an arrestable assault twice, and no real concrete steps have been taken against them in their professional life.

Of course, that's not to say there won't still be consequences - and it's worth noting that the people who were saying that Will Smith should be punished and those saying that Ezra Miller shouldn't be are not necessarily all THE SAME people.

Even still, the societal bias is clear.

That said, at least it's funnier to laugh at the Ezra Miller memes (the tiniest of silver linings possible) becuase while people defintiely felt bad for Will and Chris AND Jada in that whole situation, there are probably very few people who feel bad for Miller.
