Season two of Only Murders in the Building is right around the corner, and the amount of heart that the core cast has in this project is certainly a testiment to the show's success.

Only Murders in the Building quickly became the most viewed original comedy Hulu had ever produced. The show is beloved by all. Peole have been counting down the days until they can once again enter into this quirky world of mystery, intrigue, and hilarity. The core cast including Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez make the show absolutely unmissable. Why can't we get enough of watching these podcasters delve deeper and deeper into this world of murder mystery? Because these performers have their heart in the piece.

Steve Martin has dedicated his career to art that leaves people happy and entertained. In a world where we seem to live in an endless cycle of bad news, it is beautiful to hear from someone who has truly dedicated their life to positivity. He shared in an interview with The Times that:

"My whole thing of becoming an entertainer was to make people like me and have fun...I don't want to leave anybody with a depressing feeling"

While the show is certainly one that keeps the whole family laughing and entertained, that does not mean it is without depth or heart. In one scene in the upcoming season, Mable has a moment, without giving anything away, in which she must move on from the person she once was. Gomez, the actress behind the character, shared that this moment resonated deeply with her.

"I think everybody has a moment in their life where they want to shed their past and all the stuff they've gone through. I didn't contribute to the writing of that scene, but I certainly understood it. And it felt really good destroying that"

Only Murders in the Building returns to Hulu tomorrow, June 28th.
