Despite his initial claim he would not disclose anything about the royal family before starting the reality game show, the 58-year-old has already created a few potentially uncomfortable moments for the royals, as reported by The Mirror.

In the most recent installment of the series, Goldsmith delved into the topic of Kate's welfare after she underwent abdominal surgery in January.

"So, because she doesn't want to talk about... the last thing I'm going to do is... there's a kind of code of etiquette. If it's announced, I'll give you an opinion. I spoke to her mum, my sister, she's getting the best care in the world. And all the family's done is put the wagons round and look after family first before anything else," he said. "They put a statement out and just said, 'She's taking some time to (recuperate) and will see you in Easter.' "

Fellow contestant, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu responded: "I've heard mixed things about Kate and I don't want to make a comment, but whatever it is, we want her to come back."

"She's amazing. She will be back. Of course she will," Goldsmith later answered.

Kate, 42, made her first appearance on March 4 while riding as a passenger in a car with her mother.

However, she's not the only member of the royal family facing health challenges.

King Charles III has scaled back his public commitments due to his fight against prostate cancer, though Buckingham Palace has assured that he is still fulfilling his official and State duties.
