Gypsy Rose Blanchard reportedly thinks that one of Taylor Swift's songs from her "The Tortured Poets Department" album was inspired by her.

Sources told TMZ that Gypsy thinks Taylor's song "Fresh Out The Slammer" is about her release from prison in December 2023, after serving eight years for her involvement in the murder of her mom Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard in 2015.

While the Grammy-winning singer has not revealed her exact inspiration for the seventh track on her album, Gypsy reportedly suspects it's inspired by her story because the song is about a woman getting out of the slammer, which means jail or prison.

Gypsy reportedly relates to the lyrics "camera flashes, welcome bashes," as she was regularly photographed after her release. Her family also gave her a welcome party to celebrate her life behind bars.

And it seemed like the Munchausen syndrome by proxy victim was not alone in seeing the similarities. Some netizens also speculated that the track was written for her.

"A song called 'Fresh Out The Slammer?' Who was recently released from prison and is a big Swiftie? Miss Gypsy Rose," tweeted one netizen way back in February.

"No [because] she wrote 'Fresh Out The Slammer' for Gypsy Rose," claimed another in April.

"How do people listen to 'Fresh Out The Slammer' without relating it to Gypsy Rose? I can't unsee it," said a different commenter.

"Guys, 'Fresh Out The Slammer' is actually a tribute to Gypsy Rose Blanchard," someone else claimed.

"For me, 'Fresh Out The Slammer' will never not be associated with Gypsy Rose," opined a different person.

However, per other theories, "Fresh Out The Slammer" allegedly explains what led Taylor to "rekindle her fling with Matty Healy" after she and Joe Alwyn ended their six-year relationship, according to Women's Health Magazine.

The "1989" artist allegedly referenced this in the lyrics: "Now pretty baby, I'm running back home to you / Fresh out the slammer I know who my first call will be to."

Shortly after news about her split with Alwyn broke in April 2023, dating rumors surrounding her and the frontman of The 1975, whom she was previously romantically linked to, emerged.
