Donald Trump boasted about his son Barron Trump's academic accomplishments as the teen made his first-ever campaign rally appearance this week.

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old recent high school graduate joined his father and brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump at a campaign event in Doral, Florida.

While introducing his sons to attendees, Trump said it was the "first time" that his only son with wife Melania Trump had joined him on the campaign trail and gave an update on Barron's college plans.

In a video of the rally shared by The Hill, the former president and current Republican presidential candidate introduced Barron as "a very young man who's now going to college."

Trump went on to say that Barron "got into every college he wanted to, and he made his choice."

"He's a very good guy, I'll tell you... He's a very special guy," the ex-POTUS added. "Barron Trump! This is the first time he's ever done it, Barron."

He did not disclose which school Barron ultimately chose. New York University, Georgetown University, and the University of Pennsylvania were rumored to be among his top picks.

Barron's friend Bo Loudon shared video footage from the campaign rally showing his pal standing up and waving to the crowd after being introduced by his dad.

In the video posted on X, formerly Twitter, Barron looked dapper in a dark suit and white button-down as he smiled and gave his father's supporters a thumbs-up.

Loudon claimed that Barron "got a standing ovation" from the attendees.

Trump also took to Truth Social Wednesday to share photos of his youngest son making his campaign rally debut.

The former president joked during the Florida campaign event that Barron seemed to be more popular than his two oldest sons, who have joined him on the campaign trail since he first ran for president.

"You're pretty popular, he might be more popular than Don and Eric, we gotta talk about this," Trump jokingly said. "Hey Don, we gotta talk about this."

Trump also seemingly hinted that his youngest will make more campaign appearances in the future.

He quipped that Barron "had such a nice, easy life," but "now, it's a little bit changed."

Barron's campaign rally debut came two months after his mother announced that he would not be serving as a delegate at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Barron was initially chosen as an at-large delegate to represent Florida at the convention, which takes place next week.

However, just days after the announcement, Melania's office released a statement saying that Barron "regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments."
