Well-known radio personality Casey Kasem is reportedly in his final days as Parkinson's disease has continued to take its toll on his body along with early onset dementia.

According to TMZ, Kasem's second wife, Jean Kasem, revealed the sad information through legal documents about the 81-year-old's declining health, which surfaced as part of a lawsuit that was filed against the couple by a former housekeeper.

Hilda Loza, a one-time caregiver to Casey, stated that she was treated poorly while employed by the family.

Jean wasn't present at the hearing and instead filed a document by way of her lawyer in lieu of her famous husband's decreasing health status.

She requested a continuance of a couple of months to allow "the situation to resolve or end, unfortunately.""My husband is terminally ill and unable to leave home," she said.

The judge eventually threw out the case, ruling that Loza didn't correctly serve the Kasem's with legal action.

However, the ailing star's family still had other litigation to address, as Kasem's children from his previous marriage are suing Jean over his medical care, stating to New York Daily News that Jean isolated him and doesn't allow the children to visit.

"My dad is very sick, and we have been completely shut off from him for the last three months. There is no money issue here, we just want to see our dad. We love him, and everyone knows his kids and grandkids are a source of joy for him," daughter Kerri Kasem said.
