Black Friday 2013 Deals: Amazon, Best Buy & Staples Competing Amid 3D TVs, PlayStation 4 & Xbox One Release
While the massive amount of attention the various stores receive over Black Friday remains the same, it appears that some elements of the shopping frenzied day that have changed.
According to Deal News, 3D televisions will be more affordable to the customer. The site stated that in particular, the 55' 3D TV's are expected to go for $425, which would be significantly lesser than last year's $799 price.
Also, in terms of video game consoles, this year will see the launch of the brand new PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately for the gamers, the respective systems will be hard to come by, as they're in strong demand. Hence, it will be extremely difficult to come across a deal.
Console bundles will be the most cost efficient, putting together Xbox One or PlayStation 4 with additional controllers,, accessories, or video games at a lesser cost.
In terms of doorbusters, most of them can be located online, and at cheaper rates. They're still a method to get shoppers to buy their items inside a store, which would make them spend more.
In the past, doorbusters will mostly start at 7am, but will now come out at different hours throughout the day.
Even with its shipping fees, most stores such as Staples and Best Buy are still trying to compete with online dominator, Amazon. Due to Amazon's competitive pricing, most retailers will aim to match them in pricing.
November 29 will be the day of Black Friday in 2013, which is the day after Thanksgiving.
