Amid rumors that Bruce Jenner is on his way to transitioning to a woman, his former step-daughter Kim Kardashian told fans he would tell his story in his own time. It looks like that time could be sooner than we thought as Diane Sawyer has been tapped for the highly anticipated interview surrounding Jenner's alleged life change.

According to Buzz Feed Monday evening, Jenner will have a very candid conversation with the iconic ABC news anchor that is set to air this May.

Rumor also has it that he will have his own docu-series following his change as well as sharing the details of his story on the upcoming season of E!'s Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Interestingly enough, NBC reportedly feels slighted it did not land the interview considering E! is its sister station.

However, E! opted to not comment when asked about reports that Jenner would be getting his own series on the network. Speculation that Jenner is becoming a woman has been swirling for months now. His mother, Esther Jenner, has even spoken out on the ordeal.

"We had a very long, long, long talk about it. I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker," she said Tuesday.

Esther added that she is even "more proud of him" at this moment than when he won a gold medal in the Olympics.

"I support him whole-heartedly. I just love him like I always have."

She ended by saying that she was unaware of Bruce's "struggle" but believes his story can help others.

Kardashian recently spoke out about the rumors with Access Hollywood. See what she had to say in the video below.
