Comedian Red Grant Credits Katt Williams For His Success: 'I'm Rich Because Of Him'
Katt Williams is well-loved by many, including one comedian who credits him for his success.
Red Grant called Williams, 52, the foundation of his career.
"I'm rich because of him. I have a new home because of him. My wife is retired because of him," Grant said during an interview with 'Real Lyfe Street Starz' published in late June. "My kids go to great private schools now because of that. He has money in my family's account."

The performer also recalled how Williams is the reason that he is still performing today during a clip from the interview on his Instagram last week.
"When you have real God Spirited friends like Mr. @kattwilliams they open doors for you and when you get in, you in turn open doors for others. That's how it works. Thanks again Mr Williams, me and my whole family appreciates you and your kind support over the years," he wrote.
"It's hard to find real friendships out in this world and I appreciate your kindness and truth over the last 20 years," Grant, who starred in 'First Sunday' (2008) alongside Williams, concluded his caption.
Other celebrities have come forward sharing stories of Williams' generosity and support throughout the years.
During his interview on 'Club Shay Shay,' Gary Owen recalled how Williams did "one of the coolest things anybody ever did for me in my career." The incident occurred in 2006, following their joint performance at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, when the Ohio native helped him with a limo driver.
Jaguar Wright revealed how the 'Friday After Next' actor taught her "so much in 9 months."
"Wanna know what's interesting," Wright began candidly. "It's Katt Williams that taught me how to be Jaguar Wright."
"He was my 30th birthday present," she claimed in a 'RealLyfe Productions' interview in April. "It was my birthday party, and he wanted to meet me and he came to my party... gave me about 20 grand in cash and said, 'Consider it a down payment on your time.' "
