The trailer release of season 4 of House of Cards is definitely a while away, but it's always good to stay alert about when it might hit screens.

iDigitalTimes has a tentative date for fans to chalk up in their diaries. According to the report which works with an educated guess, the trailer will be out in February 2016. This is mostly judging by previous release dates for the show.

In other show related news, rumors are aswirl about Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) dying in season 4.

Showrunner Responds To Criticism Of Rachel's Murder On House of Cards

While Kelly hasn't given away anything about his character arc in the next chapter he did suggest that anything was possible on the show. In an interview with the Inquisitr, the actor revealed that showrunner Beau Willimon was anything but predictable.

"I was alive at the end of three, that's all I can say. I wouldn't be surprised if Beau was behind my bedroom door right now. I put nothing past him," he said.

While miraculous resusciations are possible, Kelly is also aware of the dispensability of key characters on the show.

Breathecast sourced another quote from Kelly in an interview with Deadline wherein he suggested that his character would always be vulnerable.

"It's House of Cards, right? They do not hesitate to kill great characters," he said.

Season 4 is set to return in 2016.
