Rihanna Chris Brown Baby In The Works? Singer Requests "Time Off" To Start A Family Says Source
Fresh off of the success of her "777 Tour," Rihanna has reportedly asked her record company for time off so she can start a family with Chris Brown.
"She asked her record company when the best time would be for her to take off, as she wants a baby," an insider reportedly told British magazine Closer. "They just stared at her. Everyone was pretty open-mouthed. But she hasn't got any time free in her diary until 2014."
The 24-year-old has sparked concern among her inner circle regarding her rekindled romance with Brown. The Bajan beauty might walk down the aisle at the end of the year with the "Fortune" singer.
The star has allegedly asked friends to keep their schedules free on New Year's Eve, causing speculatiom that the couple are planning a surprise wedding.
But not everyone is happy about her reunion with Brown. The source told Closer that Rihanna's mother Monica Braithwaite is doing everything she can to stop the pair from getting more serious.
"She called Rihanna to yell at her, asking what she's doing with her life," the source explained. "They've been blowing up over the Chris issue for weeks now. Her mom has told her not to waste any time on Chris and said, 'Is this the type of man you want as your baby's dad? He's acting just like your dad used to.'"
The source added that to the disappoint of her mother, the disagreement "has made Rihanna even more determined to marry him."
The "Diamonds" singer has kept a strict work schedule that includes releasing an album almost every year with a tour to follow and with the recent release of the "Unapologetic" album, she is likely unable to start a famly before 2014, according to the report.
The couple have revealed their reconciliation through a series of photos they both posted on Instagram in the past two weeks.
Brown posted an image on Instagram of himself smoking a cigarette sitting next to a lingerie-clad Riri wrapped in a camouflage print comforter blanket on Sunday, Dec. 2. "What would music today sound like if these kids didn't exist?" Brown captioned the black-and-white photo.
The "S&M" singer posted a picture of herself hugging Brown on Instagram. "i dont wanna leave!!! Killed it tonight baby!!!" she captioned the photo.
On Nov.24 Rihanna also posted an image of a shirtless Brown lying facedown on what might be her bed. The star posted the photo to Instagram with the caption: "Dis n-....... #BartObsessed."
