Sheree Whitfield’s return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo has been put on hold.

An insider said Monday that it’s all because the reality star and the network are having a hard time coming to an agreement on how much she should get paid to come back to the popular series.
Whitfield is said to be refusing to accept anything less than $200,000 before signing on the show for its eighth season. But the network apparently doesn’t have it in their budget to pay her that much; especially after they let go of one producer and have spent more funds paying for even more projects.’’
“A lot is going on at Bravo, with all of the cast pay. All of the current cast wants more money. They want Sheree to film without a contract, like they did with Claudia.”
The newcomer Claudia Jordan actually joined the show as Kenya Moore’s friend. But when producers saw how much drama she brought, they ended up giving her a contract to join the show. On the flip side, Porsha Williams filmed the season under the impression that she would be a full-time cast member. When it was revealed that she didn’t have enough drama on her own that she was willing to reveal on camera, her role was reduced to recurring friend.
It will be interesting to see Whitfield to return to the series. If she doesn’t the show will have none of its original co-stars since NeNe Leakes departed earlier this summer.
