Michelle Knight Gives Inspirational Message On Leaving The Past 'Behind Us'
The woman, who was captivated by Ariel Castro in a suburban house for more than ten years, found her freedom two years ago. Ever since, she's been making headlines on her inspirational words of wisdom.
On Monday, she posted a new photo of herself on Facebook as she sits by a tree and looks up with a smile on her face. She writes in the caption that she's taking time to feel the positive energy around her and take advantage of what life has to give.

"Today I take the time to chill under this tree and seize the moment of beauty that is in front of me to feel the comfort of nature and how peaceful it can really be," Knight wrote. "Don't let the moment go by to seize the beauty in life God bless everyone and have a peaceful day."
When Knight was held captive, two other young women named Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus were kidnapped as well. The girls were chained in a bedroom and encountered horrific experiences, involving physical abuse and sexual assault. Following their escape, their kidnapper was taken to prison where he commit suicide.
This story became one of the most gripping tales of the generation and was even turned into a Lifetime film.
