'The Voice' Top 4 Results, Shocking Elimination Of 2, No Acts For Adam Levine (VIDEO)
"The Voice" Top 6 Results show had not one but, two shocking eliminations on Tuesday, Dec.4.
Adam Levine was left with no one else to mentor after both of his contestants, Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown, were sent home based on receiving the lowest votes from the show's viewers at home.
The eliminations revealed the Top 4 which leaves the showdown to Team Blake Shelton versus Team Cee Lo Green.
Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope of Team Blake are moving on, along with Team Cee Lo's Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David.
Ne-Yo opened the Top 6 Results show with a performance of "Let Me Love You," with Team Adam's Brown.
Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas performed "Overjoyed" with Team Cee Lo's David and Hunte.
Before the results were announced, Cee Lo's contestant David delivered a speech to express his gratitude and share the good times that he had with fellow contestants. "It has been the experience of a lifetime, the opportunity of a lifetime, the dream of a lifetime," he said. "But we have become a family in doing this, with all the hours we've spent together, all the tears we've cried, all the farts, everything."
"TMI," "The Voice" host Carson Daly replied.
Martinez was eliminated first. "I never expected to get this far and this is beyond what I've ever dreamed of," she said after she learned of her fate. "I'm just so glad I got to express who I am as an artist and really touch people's hearts because that was the ultimate goal."
Brown was surprisingly eliminated after delivering her best performance of the season, her rendition of Fiona Apple's "Criminal" that she performed with David.
