'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Spoilers: New Character Shares A Moment With The BAU In New Still [VIDEO]
Filming for season 11 of Criminal Minds has just begun and new cast member Aisha Tyler has already started work.
Could Ella Greenaway Return For Season 11?
On July 28, Tyler shared her first pic with other cast members, Shemar Moore, Thomas Gibson and Matthew Gray Gubler on set. The actress tweeted the image where the four of them are seen sharing a light moment, behind-the-scenes:

While this is the first pic Tyler has shared herself, the official Set_Report Twitter account for Criminal Minds also revealed an on-set still of Joe Mantegna and Tyler. The two actors are seen standing in the pantry room of the Criminal Minds office. Tyler is all smiles, looking very radiant in the image.
Season 11 To Focus On Dr. Reid's Personal Story
The actress, who is known for her work on Archer and as a co-host of The Talk, will be playing for the BAU, and is possibly a way to make up for the loss of Jennifer Love Hewitt, who opted out of season 11 on account of her pregnancy. Tyler will play Dr. Tara Lewis a forensic psychologist who specializes in criminal cases.
Entertainment Weekly also sourced an official description about the character:
"Her dream was to study psychopaths up close and personal - and her psychology background, combined with her experience in the FBI, brought her face-to-face with monsters. Her job was to stare them down and interview them, in order to determine if they were fit to stand trial. In the process, she made herself find the humanity inside these broken men (and, sometimes, women) in order to learn if there was a conscience behind their brutal crimes."
The finale of Criminal Minds aired on May 6.
