The Young and the Restless will test the trust of its many characters in its latest episode set to air today, Aug. 6.

Why Is 'The Young and the Restless' Cast 'Getting Fancy' While On Their CBS Set?

For months now, Marco (Peter Bergman) has been pretending to be Jack (also portrayed by Bergman), but the tables are turning and it looks as though Jack will give pretending to be Marco a try to get some information out of Marisa (Sofia Pernas).

Previously on the CBS soap, Marisa played the Genoa City Police Department by giving details of the dead captain of the cargo ship she escaped from with Jack for a sketch.

Will Cane & Lauren End Up Together On 'The Young and the Restless'?

Many of the Genoa City residents are still quite skeptical about her and rightfully so.

According to Soaps, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will help Jack get into character when it comes to portraying Marco.

In the sneak peek teaser below it looks as though Jack will go see Marisa then and she will believe he is Marco.

"Marco, I didn't expect you-" Marisa says, but is cut off by her fake lover who says, "You didn't think I would abandon you, did you?"

This makes it seem pretty clear that Marisa is using Noah (Robert Adamson) and the others that are still living in Genoa City.

While that's happening Phyllis will have a chat with Victor (Eric Braeden) as seen in the sneak peek teaser.

"I wouldn't want your wife to hear the things I'm about to say to you," Phyllis tells him. She's not holding back on her anger from all the pain and manipulation Victor brought into her life with Marco pretending to be Jack.

While, Jack toys with Marisa and Phyllis gives Victor a piece of her mind, Soaps revealed that Detective Harding (Chris L. McKenna) would bring Noah down to the station to brief him on what Marisa did with the sketch. Then he'll insist Noah gets information out of her to honor Courtney (Kelli Goss) since she died trying to protect everyone else.

Noah will question Marisa later on, but it will not go over well.

Also in the sneak peek, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will freak out over Gabriel/Adam (Justin Hartley) to Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
