Kristen Stewart Bored With Robert Pattinson? Could Have Been Likely Reason For Cheating
Kristen Stewart may have revealed the likely reason she cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her "Snow White And The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
In a recent interview where Stewart discussed the book for the film adaptation of her next fiilm, "On The Road," she admitted that she likes people that are more "challenging" and "throw (her) off a bit."
"You can fall into the habit of being comfortable. There are people that are nice to be around, but they don't challenge you," the 22-year-old told the Los Angeles Daily News. "Those are not the people I wanted in my life. I want people to throw me off a little bit so I can figure out why."
"After I read the book, I thought I needed to find people that I feel like I needed to chase after," she admitted. "And I wanted it to be hard to keep up with them."
In July, Stewart was photographed hugging, kissing and embracing the married film director in California.
In a separate interview, Stewart's "Twilight" co-star Taylor Lautner was asked to share his thoughts on cheating and his friend's affair.
"To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations, so I don't know [if trust can be regained]," Lautner told Cosmopolitan. "It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don't want to give that if I haven't even been there myself."
"Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I'm always proud of her," said Lautner, 20.
The revelation comes amid a recent report that all may not be forgiven in "Robsten" land.
Kristen Stewart is reportedly disappointed that Pattinson has yet to fully forgive her for her publicized affair.
According to a Radar Online source, Pattinson, 26, is still undecided about moving forward completely from the betrayal despite all the time they have spent together since their reconciliation in September.
"Rob and Kristen are at a crossroads right now as to whether he finally accepts they are back together or not," the source told Radar Online. "The problem is, Rob is still dithering on what to do. I think Kristen is now at the stage where she feels it is time for him to get over her affair or perhaps move on."
"Kristen has been trying so hard to win Rob back, she's been hanging out with his friends and she even went to London to make a good impression with Rob's family over the Thanksgiving holiday," the alleged insider added. "She knows his sisters were particularly vocal about their disapproval of Rob taking her back after the affair, so Kristin braved the storm and groveled to them.
Lautner commented on Stewart and Pattinson's reconciliation. He "absolutely" believes it's "possible" to reconnect with an ex. "It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a long, serious relationship, I think it's quite easy to rekindle. I guess it depends on what damage has been done. There's no ex out there who I'm not friends with today, and I'm extremely thankful for that."
