Katy Perry speaks about Divorce from Russell Brand on Twitter
Katy Perry spoke about the gossip surrounding her and husband Russell Brand on Saturday for the first time on Twitter.
Perry and the British comedian have been the focus of the latest celebrity buzz after he filed for divorce from Perry, 14 months after they tied the knot citing irreconcilable differences.
Numerous publications have posted stories speculating about what went wrong with the couple, many quoting their friends and family.
But Perry made it clear the gossip is just what it is.
"Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, "close sources" or my family," Perry wrote on her Twitter Saturday night.
"I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again."
