Aldon Smith, Nessa: 49ers Player Denies DUI After Rumored Feud With Colin Kaepernick Over Ex [VIDEO]
Aldon Smith has spoken out after being arrested for DUI.
On his way out of the Santa Clara jail on Friday morning , the former San Francisco linebacker spoke to reporters, claiming there was "no DUI."
"People that are faithful will remain faithful," Smith told KTVU of his fans, via a FOX News report on Friday. "Justice will be served and the truth will come out. There's no DUI and I'm sorry for anyone I let down. It's time. I need to speak and I want everybody to understand, this wasn't a DUI. The situation that happened could have been handled differently."

In the wee hours of Monday morning, Smith was arrested and charged with DUI, hit and run and vandalizm.
"I apologize for everybody I did let down and I apologize for how it all played out, but as far as everything is concerned, it will work out how it is supposed to work out," Smith continued.
Although the circumstances surrounding Friday morning's arrest remain unclear, rumors have swirled, claiming the arrest came after Smith engaged in a physical altercation with quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who is rumored to be dating Smith's ex-girlfriend, MTV host Nessa. According to a TMZ report, "players had to pull them apart."
Smith was released from the 49ers hours after his DUI arrest, the second for Smith, who also received a DUI charge in 2013, resulting in a nine-game suspension.
