An Unexpected Pregnancy Is Coming To 'Switched At Birth'
On Thursday, Nerd Report shared an interview with Lea Thompson (Kathryn) who gave quite a few details on what viewers will come across in the remaining season. Some stuff she mentioned has been announced before, but there are plenty of hints on what they could mean.
"There's a baby. There's a pregnancy," Thompson said. "Our family gets into financial troubles which causes certain rifts in my marriage. There's a lot of characters from past seasons that come to visit and cause trouble. There's a Bay and Emmett story which everyone seems so interested in."

The actress then opened up on how proud she is of the show since it continues to create moments that no one has seen rather than using the same old stuff.
"We're conquering new elements," she said. "We're going different places with different stories. It's not just rehashing the same old stuff over and over."
Whatever goes down in the new episodes, Thompson made it clear that she's loving every minute of it. And just like all the fans, she's hoping the series will get a renewal.
"I love the cast. I love that the show is still on the air after four years and I hope it makes a fifth season," the actress said. "It's just such a beautiful experience. I just love going to work there every day."
Switched at Birth returns on Monday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
