Cole is about to get mighty dangerous in the second season of The Affair.

Helen Blames Her Mother For Failed Marriage On 'The Affair'

On Saturday, a clip featuring the character played by Joshua Jackson shows him in a heated moment with Alison. When he's told to leave the room, Cole reveals some papers he discovered that has something worth reading about.

While she claims to not have read it, she does not want Cole to see it. He seems pretty desperate to clear things up with her, but due to his tone and facial features, he might take this to a dangerous extent.

'The Affair' Season 2 Gets Premiere Date

It gets creepy when Cole is in a restaurant and sees Noah getting out of a taxi. As Cole lays eyes on the man who's been involved with Alison, he shuts an eye and points his finger at him like a gun- clearly implying that he's about to do something pretty heinous.

Meanwhile, Ruth Wilson (Alison) previously told Deadline that it will likely not be a happy ending for her character and Noah.

"I mean, this has got to create drama for an audience so, no, they're not going to be happy, but you hope they would," Wilson said. "I think they have their own issues, despite what happens at the end. The second season is about the consequences, where the first was about sin, [executive producer] Sarah [Treem] says. The third season is the redemption."

The Affair Season 2 premieres on Sunday, October 4 at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime.
