TVLine recently came out with its spoiler report, and revealed that Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will be starting her new firm with the assistance -- not of Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) -- but new character Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

At the end of season 6, Canning offered Alicia to partner up with him and start a new firm. Alicia had already started practicing by herself and was trying to set up her own space, but Canning's offer seems to hard to resist. While there is still no official word on if Alicia will take him up on it, speculation on the subject is rife.

The TVLine report makes no mention of Canning joining forces with Alicia, stating that to "revive her struggling law career" she will set up her own firm with the help of Crouse, who will play her new investigator.

But Canning will definitely be back in the next season. Recently, Margulies posted a behind-the-scenes image of her, decked out as Alicia, and Fox prepping a dinner scene -- probably a discussion about the partnership.

She threw in a bit of excitement for fans with her caption for the image: "Look who's back..."

The next chapter of the legal drama is set to premiere on CBS on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m.

The season 6 finale, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' aired on CBS on May 10.
