'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Cast: Bravo Axes One Star, Plus Who Threw A Drink In Kenya Moore's Face? [VIDEO]
Fans are even more amped for return of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta after Marlo Hampton and veteran Sheree Whitfield were spotted filming with some of the cast. But now word is spreading that someone was already given the axe.
It turns out that rumors of actress Kim Fields (well known for her major role in former hit series Living Single) were true as she actually did sign on to join the show. In fact, she even taped a few scenes according to Atlanta blogger Straight From The A Monday.
But she reportedly wasn’t interesting enough and was even described as being “too dry” in all of the clips.

Interestingly enough she was MIA when the “full cast” taped their first scene together at the launch party for Cynthia Bailey’s new eyewear line over the weekend. Claudia Jordan was also nowhere in sight.
But Hampton is surely making her return as her friend turned foe NeNe Leakes departed. But she’s still not a full-time cast member and is coming back as a “friend of the show”, most likely with Kenya Moore. So with Leakes and Jordan being gone, two more slots are open for full-time cast members. Rumor has it that Porsha Williams and Whitfield will receive their peaches once again. And the drama is only beginning.
Whitfield was in the “testing” mode for her spot but seems to have caught the network’s attention when she threw a drink in Moore’s face and upped her position as a full-time star.
The eighth season cast is said to be Kenya Moore, Williams, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks and Whitfield.
