'General Hospital' Spoilers: Liz & Nikolas Make Shocking Decisions In Continued Attempt To Keep Jason's Identity A Secret [VIDEO]
Since learning that Hayden (Rebecca Budig) had emerged from a coma, both Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) have been on edge that she could remember everything and expose them for the frauds they are, causing the two to make surprising decisions on General Hospital.
Nikolas is the reason Hayden wound up in a come in the first place, after hiring a hit man to take her out when she went to tell Jake (Billy Miller) that he was really Jason Morgan. The plan backfired slightly when the hitman failed to kill her. Now, after learning Hayden appears to have amnesia, NIkolas will make her a shocking offer-in an effort to ensure she stays under hit watch and away from anyone she could potentially expose the truth to.
However, Hayden will be wary of his request, because of what she's been told about their supposed relationship before she was shot.
"Why do you want me living under your roof again?" she asks in a preview clip for the Tuesday, August 11 episode.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth will have a shocking reaction after learning from Jake that he and Sam have been investigating Nikolas because they believe he also knows the truth about his real identity. After forgiving him for keeping the investigation a secret because of how close she is to Nikolas, Jake shocked her by proposing marriage to her. Now, as she contemplates finally getting the man she always wanted, but doing it by knowingly withholding the truth about his identity from him, Elizabeth may have an unexpected change of heart and will flee from the man she claims to love.
"I'm sorry," she says in the clip before running off.
General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
