According to new reports that started circulating Tuesday, Whitfield will be making $250,000 for this season. But that’s a decrease compared to what she was making in previous episodes.

“At the height of Sheree’s four seasons, she was making $350,000. Producers initially offered $100,000 and Sheree balked at the insulting offer,” a source said. “Finally, the contract was signed for $250,000, with an option to do another season at a higher salary.”

With NeNe Leakes leaving the popular series, Whitfield will be the only original star.

The insider added that producers brought back Whitfield to “bring the drama with NeNe’s departure from the show.”

Leakes’ arch nemesis Marlo Hampton is also returning in a recurring role and rumor has it that Porsha Williams will receive her peach again as a full-time co-star.

“Sheree is happy to have a regular paycheck again, and have the platform of the show to promote her various projects.”

The full cast taped their first scene together over the weekend at Cynthia Bailey’s hewer Collection launch in Atlanta. Kenya Moore, Kandi Burrus and Phaedra Parks are also returning this year.

It’ll certainly be a full cast with various personalities so it will be interesting to see what takes place between the ladies.

The season will air later this year. It hasn’t been given a premiere date just yet.
