Jax Taylor isn't letting his recent arrest get him down.

Although the Vanderpump Rules star is currently facing a felony theft charge stemming for his alleged decision to steal a pair of Polaris sunglasses from a store in Hawaii, Taylor is staying positive on Twitter, and recently shared the following message with fans:

For weeks following the incident, Taylor stayed silent, but days ago, he released a statement to the UK's Daily Mail, calling his Hawaiian arrest an "honest mistake."

“There was alcohol involved," he explained. "I think I can afford a pair of glasses. Clearly my credit card was in my hand.”

In addition to Taylor's arrest statement, several of his co-stars have spoken out.

“We’re dealing with it," Lisa Vanderpump told Perez Hilton. "I am happy to say I see some type of remorse [from Jax]. People make mistakes and he definitely made a big one.”

“I laughed, because it was so stupid," added Scheana Marie Shay. "Everyone was like, ‘you’re such an idiot!’ If it was anything else he got in trouble for, we would’ve all been pretty sympathetic, but because it was straight stupidity, we’re like, ‘C’mon man! What were you thinking?'”

Vanderpump Rules is expected to return to Bravo later this year for season four.
