'The Originals' Season 3 Spoilers: Producer Dishes On Rebekah's Return & 'Flashback Storyline' [VIDEO]
As fans anticipate the season premiere for The Originals, one of the characters will return in a pretty epic manner.

On Thursday, E! News announced that Claire Holt will come back to the series as Rebekah in her real body. When executive producer Michael Narducci showed up at the 2015 Summer TCA press tour, he opened up on Rebekah's return and how it'll make a connection with new character Aurora.
"Aurora is part of Rebekah's sire line," Narducci said. "So we'll get to see some flashbacks between Rebekah and Aurora, and we'll also get to see Aurora come to our present day New Orleans and wreak some fun havoc. Absolutely, that means Claire is returning. In flashbacks, it would have to be Claire."

The producer gave more details on how stoked he is to have Holt come back to the series with enticing flashback sequences.
"Right now we're trying to work with Claire's schedule and it's all working out nicely," he said. "Claire is phenomenal and we love to have her on the show. We've got a whole flashback storyline that she will participate in, and then we have some ideas on how we might see Rebekah again in present day in both bodies. Not at the same time!"
Nathaniel Buzolic is going to reprise his role as Kol and Casper Zafer is returning as well.
The Originals Season 3 premieres on Thursday, October 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
