When it comes to the world of competitive dancing, you can be on top, but not for long, apparently. There are new reports indicating that Chloe Lukasiak is on the fast track to becoming one of the biggest celebrity dancers in the business, as she beat out Maddie Ziegler during the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night.

Chloe Lukasiak Says She's In A Much More Positive Environment After Leaving Abby Lee Miller

According to Life & Style Weekly, even though Ziegler has been dominating the headlines because of her collaboration with Aussie pop star Sia, it's Lukasiak that fans love the most. She was voted Choice Dancer at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards and also surprisingly credited former instructor Abby Lee Miller during her acceptance speech, too. The rising star made a point to thank all of the dance instructors she's had, including the controversial reality television star.

Lukasiak said, "To anyone who's been told they can't do it, shouldn't do it, or isn't good enough to do it, do it anyway and prove them wrong."

Speaking to OK! Magazine last week, Lukasiak also admitted that she is in a much better place now that she left Abby Lee Miller's dance studio behind her.

The 14-year-old said that her new studio is totally different than what she experienced under Miller's guidance. She said, "Everyone is always smiling and it's just really fun there. Even when they give corrections and critiques, they're all really nice about it so I have the best time."
