Earlier this summer, The Voice Season 8 champion headed out to the West Coast for some writing and recording sessions with a bunch of different songwriters and producers and is now heading back out there.

The teen also revealed he's excited to get back into the studio with producer and songwriter Mikal Blue and songwriter Johan Lindbrandt. He worked with those two music industry guys frequently while out in Los Angeles back in late June through early July.
Just some days ago, the teen was having a "late night in the studio" as he shared a photo of himself looking quite content despite the long hours.
Fredericks also revealed that sessions with Lindbrandt and Blue are not all work. Sometimes they play pool!
The most recent Voice winner even shared he recently worked with Dan Romer, a producer and songwriter, who has worked with Voice coach Christina Aguilera and others. They had a writing session, which led to Fredericks being barefoot and playing his acoustic guitar while seated on the floor.
"Getting into living room acoustics," Romer said while sharing a photo of Fredericks strumming his acoustic guitar and singing.
The Voice will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
