It wouldn't be a reality television show without the fabricated drama, right? It seems as though the ladies of the Real Housewives of Orange County just can't stop talking about newcomer Meghan Edmonds and her "inappropriate" remarks about being a stepmother.

The blonde beauty, who is married to baseball star Jim Edmonds, is currently grieving the loss of his first wife, LeAnn Edmonds Horton, who passed away after battling with cancer last month. Even though she was on good terms with her husband's ex-wife, Meghan sparked controversy by saying that she now wants to step in and be a "real mom" to her step kids.

Now her good friend Tamra judge has somehow managed to defend and criticize her for her comments. She insists that fans don't know the entire truth as Bravo edited out most of what Edmonds had said in front of the cameras.

According to Reality Tea on Tuesday, Judge said, "There was a lot of the conversation that you did not hear. I do think Meghan is a very loving stepmom; I was not trying to say she wasn't. In fact I told her that while we were talking. As a divorced mother you are lucky if your ex finds someone that loves your kids and treats them well...TRUST ME."

With that being said, Judge did add on her blog, "There are a lot of rules to being a good step parent and one of them is...YOU'RE NOT their mother so don't act like it, acting like it is only going to cause resentment and confusion on both ends," advises Tamra. "I felt that she was crossing the line with some of her comments and suggested that if she had such strong feelings that she should have her own children with Jimmy."

So far, Edmonds herself has not responded to Judge's comments.
