'Witches Of East End' News: Another Star From Former Lifetime Drama Is Moving On To New Series [VIDEO]
Another Witches of East End star is moving on.
Could A Third Season Of 'Witches Of East End' Come To Netflix?
On Tuesday, TV Line announced that Eric Winter, who played Dash on the former Lifetime drama, will be in the second season of ABC's mystery drama Secrets and Lies. He is expected to play Neal Oliver, the best friend of Eric.
Winter took to Instagram to post a fun photo with his new co-stars.
'Witches Of East End' Actress Expresses Gratitude To Fans Amid Cancellation
When the actor was on Witches of East End, his character was engaged to Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) although she ended up falling for his brother Killian (Daniel di Tomasso). This led to a complicated relationship for everyone especially when Dash started having a fling with Freya's sister Ingrid (Rachel Boston). The final moments on the series involved Ingrid getting pregnant with a possible chance of Dash being the father. Plus, Dash switched bodies with Killian, giving the impression that Dash was becoming a villain.
But unfortunately, the series was canceled and no one found out what would've happened next. There have been plenty of campaigns with petitions to renew the program for at least one more season, but nothing positive has been announced.
Winter is one of the several actors from the series who's moving into a new TV show. Dewan-Tatum will play Lucy Lane in Supergirl while Madchen Amick (Wendy) has signed on for the new season of American Horror Story.
