It looks like we'll be seeing Christian Grey back on the big screen after all. There's a new report that says the 50 Shades franchise has finally found a new director for the upcoming film, 50 Shades Darker.

According to Ireland's Xpose on Friday, it looks like Jamie Dornan - who plays Christian Grey in the series - will have an opportunity to work with House of Cards director James Foley, who will reportedly take over directing duties for the sequel to the blockbuster hit.

James is replacing Sam Taylor-Johnson, who bowed out from the project after reportedly getting into heated arguments with author E. L. James over the script.

Dornan will be reprising his role along with Dakota Johnson, who played Anastasia Steele in the first film. Production is set to begin next year.

Meanwhile, there's also a rumor that says Dornan might be teaming up on the big screen with former flame Keira Knightley for a new project.

According to the Belfast Telegraph last Friday, Dornan, who is married to British actress and singer Amelia Warner, is still friends with Knightley, even though they broke up nearly a decade ago. Sources say that the two are secretly spending time with one another again because they'll soon be teaming up with a yet to be titled project for the big screen.

So far Dornan himself has not made any comments about the report.
