Is Bay going to finally get the break she deserves on Switched at Birth?
Regina Learns About Eric's Past On 'Switched At Birth'
It's pretty safe to say that the poor girl has been having a tough year on the series. In an interview with Yahoo! TV posted on Friday, Vanessa Marano (Bay) opened up on how her character has been through a lot lately and how she's going to have to figure out where her path should go from there.
"This is a character who didn't do anything for herself last season," Marano said. "She took the fall for Daphne...she got rejected from art school, she stopped doing street art, she tried to move to California for Emmett. She has nothing of her own right now so Bay's struggle this season is far more than just losing out on what she perceives to be the love of her life. It's like losing out on everything that made her happy and she's got to figure that out."
Is Bay Getting A New Love Interest On 'Switched At Birth'
As Bay continues to go through the massive struggle of getting over her heartbreak with Emmett, it seems like things might pick up for her once she's in a better place.
"It's a sad first episode for Bay," Marano said. "But I think the place that she gets to by the end of it is pretty okay."
Switched at Birth returns on Monday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
