The Voice season 8 winner has been super busy upon returning to California for more recording sessions for his forthcoming debut major label album.

Sawyer Fredericks has been updating fans via Twitter and Instagram with the progress of his album and over the weekend it seems as though the teen's recording sessions were incredible.

On Friday night into Saturday morning the young musician revealed on Twitter "the album is coming along amazingly."

On Saturday he hit Revolver Recordings, a studio in Thousand Oaks, which Mikal Blue runs. Fredericks has been recording with Blue frequently since his first trip to California earlier this summer.

On Instagram the teen shared a group of photos from some sessions with Blue, Johan Lindbrandt, Victor Indrizzo and Dave Palmer.


"More great days at Revolver Recording [S]tudio," Fredericks gushed, adding, "the songs are sounding so good." Palmer tweeted that they had "a great afternoon/evening of music."

He even teased Fredericks' album is "gonna be a wonderful record!" Aside from awesome days recording, Fredericks also announced a pretty big show he has coming up next month for St. Jude. He's the musical guest at the St. Jude Gala on Sept. 3 in New York at the Saratoga National Golf Club.


The Voice
will return to NBC in the fall for its ninth season.
