On Sunday, FOX 8 reported that Gina DeJesus, who became a worldwide hero after she miraculously escaped captivity with two other girls, threw a baseball at the big game. A video can be seen below where she tosses the ball and it rolls across the ground.
When reporters caught up with DeJesus, one of them asked if she was a baseball fan. As it turns out, she's "not really" into sports. But she can be "only sometimes."

DeJesus was held captive by Ariel Castro in a suburban house for nine years. Amanda Berry and Michelle Knight were also trapped in the house and had been there longer. The girls found their freedom in 2013 when Castro was apparently not there and their bedroom door was unlocked. Berry was able to flag down a neighbor and call 911.
The kidnapper was taken to prison with a number of charges. He ended up committing suicide a short time later.
In a previous report from FOX 8, both Berry and DeJesus opened up on Castro's suicide and how they felt about it.
"I just couldn't believe it," Berry said. "Like, he was in there not even a month and he couldn't deal with what he put us through for ten years."
"He was a coward," DeJesus said. "He took the easy way out."
