The Enstars Readers' Choice Song of Summer 2015 Tournament is heading into its second round now that polls have closed for Round 1.
The competition is really heating up amongst the remaining contenders as seen below in the bracket.
Get to voting for Round 2 now!
"Worth It" - Fifth Harmony featuring Kid Ink vs. "Around the World" - Natalie La Rose featuring Fetty Wap
"Worth It" is definitely a sassy summer jam worthy of breaking out into some seriously intense dance moves.
But one of the girl group's summer tour's opening act's songs ("Around the World") is also a great summer jam for dancing.
Vote:
"Black Magic" - Little Mix vs. "Do It Again" - Pia Mia featuring Chris Brown and Tyga
"Black Magic" is an infectious pop summer sensation!
However, Pia Mia's collaboration is equally infectious though possibly with a little more edge given the sick lineup of the Guam-born rising star, Breezy and rapper Tyga on vocals.
Vote:
"Kiss Me Quick" - Nathan Sykes vs. "Cool for the Summer" - Demi Lovato
"Kiss Me Quick" is the ultimate soulful pop track for summer with its flirty lyrics.
But Lovato's super sexy "Cool for the Summer" has even more sizzling appeal.
Vote:
"Want to Want Me" - Jason Derulo vs. "Sweet Little Something" - Forever In Your Mind featuring Jordyn Jones
"Want to Want Me" is definitely a sugary sweet love song with Derulo's silky vocals perfectly flowing.
"Sweet Little Something" also falls into the love song category with a surprising twist. Boy bands are known for tackling love songs flawlessly, but FIYM added the rapping skills of Jones, which adds to the song's allure.
Vote:
"Bad Girls" - MKTO vs. "Where Are Ü Now" - Jack Ü (Skrillex and Diplo) with Justin Bieber
Duo MKTO has something special with their genre-defying "Bad Girls" since it literally sounds like a little bit of every genre mixed together for absolute amazingness.
Can Bieber and the EDM producers compete with Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller? Perhaps if you're looking for a more vulnerable song since the lyrics for the collaboration between the Canadian singer and the two DJs are much more emotionally open and the delivery from the three especially Bieber is outstanding.
Vote:
"Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" - Silento vs. "Fight Song" - Rachel Platten
"Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" has taken over the summer in terms of hottest dance number considering whenever anyone hears it they break out into the dance moves mentioned, including Whip and Nae Nae obviously.
Platten's "Fight Song" is invigorating though with its positive, hopeful message that will give you extra enthusiasm in your step.
Vote:
"Fire N Gold" - Bea Miller vs. "Good Thing" - Sage the Gemini featuring Nick Jonas
The pop/rock anthem from Miller is truly uplifting and it really showcases her incredible vocals.
But the collaboration between Sage the Gemini and Jonas is definitely more of a summer party jam with a ton of sex appeal.
Vote:
"She's Kinda Hot" - 5 Seconds of Summer vs. "Classic Man" - Jidenna featuring Roman GianArthur Uplifting songs of this summer seem to be a recurring theme since 5SOS has "She's Kinda Hot" out now, which is full of underdogs rising up.
The hip-hop and R&B hit "Classic Man" with pop undertones is definitely a song that can hold its own against the pop/punk rockers' jam since it is so incredibly catchy.
